The City of Menominee has three sport field complexes: Spies Field, Water Tower Park Fields and Kiwanis Field. If you would like to schedule field use at either the Water Tower Park Fields or Kiwannis Field, please contact the Recreation Department at   (906) 863-1737.

Spies Field

SPIES FIELD

Spies Field

 

Spies Field is an active athletic recreational complex that is located in the east-central portion of the City, along 10th Street (US-41). It is used extensively throughout the spring, summer and even fall months by a number of different baseball, football and soccer leagues and groups. The complex was newly renovated in 2005/06.

 

Facilities at the complex include:

 

  • Two fenced-in lighted baseball diamonds with dug outs

  • Batting cages

  • Practice field used for soccer or football

  • Lighted football game field

  • Concession stand

  • Press boxes and electric scoreboards

  • Restroom facilities

  • Large parking area

Water Tower Park Fields

WATER TOWER PARK FIELDS

Water Tower Park Fields

 

Water Tower Park not only offers a great summer playground area and winter sledding hill, but it is also the site of two softball fields. The fields are lighted and fenced-in each with 2 team benches and bleachers. The fields are utilized by softball leagues and youth T-ball and baseball programs. With restrooms, drinking fountain and ample parking, it is a great area for those summer softball games.

Kiwanis Field

KIWANIS FIELD

Kiwanis Field

 

The Kiwanis Field is located on 26th Avenue behind the Menominee City Hall. The field has one fenced in baseball field with bleachers and benches. It’s the perfect location for practicing or a pick-up game of baseball.
